Directions to Office
The LCBP main office is in the historic Gordon-Center House at 54 West
Shore Road (Rt. 314) in Grand Isle, Vermont. We are a short walk from
the Grand Isle-Plattsburgh Ferry and are in front of the Ed Weed Fish
Hatchery. Normal office hours are 8:30AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday.
We also operate a Resource Room at ECHO on the
Burlington waterfront that is open daily.
Directions from New York:
- From Interstate 87 use Exit 39.
- Follow signs for 5 miles to the Grand Isle-Plattsburgh Ferry.
- Take the ferry either with your car or as a walk-on passenger.
- Enjoy the 10-15 minute ferry ride!
- Upon leaving the Ferry Landing in Grand Isle, take a left turn onto West Shore Road (Rt 314).
- Drive or walk about 1/10th mile to the stone Gordon-Center House. A "Lake Champlain Basin Program" sign is in the front.
- The parking lot is just beyond the house.
- The entrance is in the back. Follow the signs upstairs to our offices.

Directions from Vermont:
- From Interstate 89 use Exit 17.
- Follow signs for 12 miles on Route 2 and then Route 314 to the Grand Isle-Plattsburgh Ferry.
- About 1/10th mile beyond the Ferry Landing is the stone Gordon-Center House. A "Lake Champlain Basin Program" sign is in the front.
- The parking lot is just beyond the house.
- The entrance is in the back. Follow the signs upstairs to our offices.
Directions from Quebec:
- Use the border crossing at Interstate 87 in Champlain New York.
- Follow the New York directions listed above.

- Use the border crossing at Interstate 89 in Highgate Vermont.
- Follow the Vermont directions listed above.

- Use the Alburg Vermont border crossing (Route 225).
- Drive south along Route 225 and then follow US Route 2 south to Grand Isle.
- Follow the signs to the Route 314 and the Grand Isle-Plattsburgh Ferry.
